Entrepreneur Expo Recap by Eli Gassert

“I was starting to wonder if I could actually launch a big project successfully in this area. Well after seeing what others are doing and after seeing how willing everyone at PSL events has been, my impressions have changed. I do feel confident that I can make my projects work in this area and I look forward to growing alongside organizations like PSL.”

Entrepreneur Expo a Rousing Success!

51 Exhibitors and 14 Company Presentations Draw over 400 Guests

What an Expo!

Over 400 guests interacted with 51 exhibitors and attended 14 entrepreneur presentations at the first annual Entrepreneur Expo, held on April 2, 2009, at the Science Center in Philadelphia. These numbers exceeded expectations, and the energy level at the event was high from setup, through break-down!

Guests commented with splendor over the tremendous diversity of exhibiting companies, ranging from e-marketing, to innovative manufacturing, software and even eco-friendly resort-wear. Guests ranged from members of the press, to entrepreneurs, investors, University delegates, community organizations, students and more.

It is, of course, the volunteers that made this event a towering success. A special thank you to Roman Zubarev, Devon Segel, Abe Marciano, Jonathan Goldring, Sean Darras, Wilson Guaracca, Neil Kleinman, and the PSL Board: Blake Jennelle, Tracey Welson-Rossman, Aaron McLean, Brad Denenberg, Doug Bellenger and Chris Cera. Also, thanks to some outside help from Kevin Kisch, Iris Bunk, Calvin Phun, Kevin Kreider, Melissa Thiessen and Marilyn Moran who all pitched in to help on the day of the event. There are many others to thank whom we likely have missed!

A final thank you goes to our sponsors, Morgan Lewis, Cohen Partners, the Science Center, Evenchen Designs, LTL Prints.com, ACIN, and Siegal and Drossner for their contributions to and support of the Expo.
